THE SCORPION RELAY
This historic event challenges relay teams comprised of 6 runners to complete a 5-mile course (30 total team miles) head-to-head at the scenic Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park in San Dimas, CA. Teams will have 2 runners on the course at all times. The first 2 runners for all teams will start the event at 8:00 am sharp.
Individual 5 or 10 mile events will also be available for those runners without a team. Individual runners will start at 8:15 am sharp.
THE COURSE
This course will wrap clockwise through the park and around Puddingstone Lake offering scenic views and challenging terrain. It is a mix of paved road, dirt trails, and just enough hill to challenge even the most experienced runners. There is a small stream crossing on the course. Depending on the water level of the stream, we may put up a small bridge to help you. Either way, you may get wet! The setting for the event is family friendly with numerous playgrounds within walking distance from the start/finish.
Participants can choose to run with a team of six or individually. All runners will complete the 5-mile loop course and teams will have 2 runners on the course at all times. Official times will be the total combined time of all six runners. Runners may not compete in both team and individual divisions.
Awards will be given to the top three in each category:

Team leaders, create the team and password. Register using your promo code if you have one, then pass the info on to your team mates. Once your team name has 6 registered to it, it will close.
Team or Individual Category selections can be changed online until midnight 02/07/20. No changes will be allowed after that.
T-Shirts will be included with your registration, however, they will be on a first come, first served basis on the day of the race.
Race-day check-in and registration will be from 6:30 am until 7:45 am. All teams will start their first runners at 8:00 am. All individual category runners will start at 8:15 am. Sorry, late starts will not be allowed.
This Event is not sanctioned by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (L.A.S.D.).
Therefore, participants are not covered by Workers’ Compensation in the event of an injury or illness.
It is the responsibility of L.A.S.D. members to comply with L.A.S.D. policy regarding participation in athletic events.
